The official synopsis read that the season will have the answer to the most asked question, “What could possibly have ended the 30 years of friendship of Kate and Tully?” But before we learn the reason behind it, Kate and Tully has their own struggles to face. Kate grapples with the painful aftermath of Johnny’s trip to Iraq, while Tully faces a lawsuit against her as she walks away from the talk show. This leads to restarting her career from the bottom which also includes a quest to find her father, whom she never met.
