Gal Gadot to not return as Wonder Woman for DC’s new series which is like Game Of Thrones
DC Universe to bring in new series based on Wonder Woman with Game Of Thrones touch. Will Gal Gadot return as Wonder Woman?
DC Studios co-CEO James Gunn recently shared the list of all the news series and movies coming our way. The list included Superman and Batman movies and also a show for HBO about the Green Lanterns, and more. Amidst all the announcement, he announced ‘Paradise Lost’, a show set on the Paradise Island, popularly known as Themyscira, the birth place of Wonder Woman.
One of the most viewed TV show in the history of cinema is Game Of Thrones and we have witnessed a lot of other shows taking ques from the hit series such as The Witcher, The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, The Wheel of Time and House of The Dragon, which is HBO’s own Game Of Thrones prequel. Now, the DC universe is set to take ques from GOT as the Paradise Island is described as “almost like Game Of Thrones with Westeros but with all the inhabitants of Paradise Island.”
Will Wonder Woman be a part of Paradise Lost?
There is no official confirmation that Wonder Woman will be a part of Paradise Lost. Actress Gal Gadot has previously played the role of superhero in four movies including two solo films. Her third solo film was cancelled suggesting that Gadot will no longer be portraying the role. If Wonder Woman does show up in the upcoming series, we can bet that it will be played by some new actor.
When and where will Paradise Lost premier?
Speaking of the release date and the platform on which it will be available is still not clear. The series can stream on any platform such as HBO Max or HBO proper or any other streaming service for that matter.
