Reboot season 2 script approaches other networks: Will there be new season post cancellation from Hulu?
Reboot season two script ready by the writers. The script shared with potential buyers post rejection from Hulu.
Its sad news for the fans of Reboot. It has been confirmed that the show will not be returning for its second season. The series was created by co-creator of Modern Family Steve Levitan.
The unfortunate news comes in after it was cancelled by streaming network Hulu. The creator and producing studio 20th Television tried to find another home with finished scripts by writers room that had worked the potential of second season. The scripts were sent to potential buyers but all those efforts have exhausted now and Reboot is officially over.
Levitan alluded in a Twitter post as he wrote, “Well, that seems to be a wrap on Reboot.” He added that is proud of his amazing team of cast and crew and what they pulled off together.
The tweet by Levitan also included a jibe at Hulu as it read, “Haven’t seen it? Check us out on Hulu if you can find it.” He ended his tweet with “#UnintentionalLimitedSeries.”
The single-camera comedy chronicled how a 2000s family comedy is being rebooted at Hulu with the original cast reprising their roles. The series starred Keegan-Michael Key, Judy Greer, Johnny Knoxville, Rachel Bloom, Krista Marie Yu, Paul Reiser, and Calum Worthy.
Levitan also acted as an executive producer for Reboot along with Danielle Stokdyk and Jeff Morton.
