Ted Lasso season 3 doesn’t have to be the end of it, says CEO of Warner Bros. Television Group. The last time viewers saw the hit series, there was one particular twist that set up a lot of intrigue for what would happen next. We saw that it has been revealed that Nate has been performing as a coach for Rupert and his new West Ham United team. Since then there has been no development regarding the series and it has been speculated that series might be reaching its end with season 3.
It has been confirmed that the season 3 of Ted Lasso will hit the Apple TV+ in spring. In an interview with Deadline, Channing Dungey, chairman and CEO of Warner Bros. Television Group, spoke about why the show could go on for a few more seasons. He acknowledged that the dramedy had a three-act structure but added that its hard to say goodbyes give the attachment to the characters. He added that if the show is to given a beautiful end, the fans will be happy and excited. “But there’s also a way to crack open a door. If we’re fortunate enough to do more, we can keep on going,” says the chairman.
What does the future of Ted Lasso look like?
For the upcoming third season, it is expected that they will pick up from finale of second season. In the finale, Roy and Keely make a significant decision about their future as a couple. The show’s central soccer team, AFC Richmond plays their most important match and secures an all-important draw that secure their place in Premier League. The upcoming episodes will surely be influenced by these factors in the previous season.
