The Boys: Showrunner Erik Kripke breaks silence over season 4 and 5
The Boys showrunner Erik Kripke is certain that season 4 will not be the last season.
The Boys season four won’t be the final season. Its showrunner Eric Kripke has revealed it in a tweet which comes after some fan speculated that the season four of The Boys will the last season. The speculation about the series reaching its end were brought up in a previous tweet by Kripke. However, there has been no official statement regarding the renewal of series for season five, but Kripke feels certain about it.
In his tweet, the showrunner has remained tight lipped about the release date of season 4. Although, he did share that currently he is stationed in Toronto, where season four is being filmed to prep the season finale episode. He also shared that the last episode of season 4 is titled ‘Assassination Run’.
The title Assassination Run has already stirred up excitement among fans. The episode is written by Jessica Chou and David Reed and knowing the series, it won’t be a pretty one but it will definitely be fun to watch it. The third season ended leaving fan favourite Soldier Boy, played by Jensen Ackles, defeated and put back on ice.
The season three ended with Billy Butcher heading back to his team post his surgery. The Boys, which include Hughie, played by Jack Quaid, Frenchie, played by Tomer Capone, Kimiko, played by Karen Fukuhara, Mother’s Milk, played by Laz Alonso and Annie, played by Erin Moriaty, are going on war with Homelander, played by Anthony Starr, and the other Supes. With the third season ending on such high octane note, the fans can surely expect the upcoming season to be full of action, epic fights, destruction, and blood.
