The Terminal List: Amazon confirms new season and new prequel starring Chriss Pratt and Taylor Kitsch

Amazon Prime Video confirms renewal of The Terminal List. The network also reveals details over the prequel starring the main cast.

Prime Video has confirmed the renewal of MRC Television conspiracy thriller The Terminal List. The series led by Chris Pratt will be coming back with its second installment. The network has also confirmed that an untitled prequel series focusing on fan-favourite Ben Edwards, played by Taylor Kitsch, is under making.

While the first season of The Terminal was based on the bestseller novel of Jack Carr of the same name, the second will be based on Carr’s novel True Believer.

It has also been revealed which other characters of Carr the prequel series will feature opposite Kitsch’s Ben in addition to James Recee, played by Chris Pratt and Raife Hastings. The list also includes Mohammed Farooq and Ernest ‘Boozer’ Vickers, played in season one by former Navy SEAL and series producer Jared Shaw.

The untitled prequel will focus on the journey of Edward from Navy SEAL to CIA paramilitary operator, exploring the darker side of warfare and the human cost it comes with.

Kitsch and Pratt, apart from starring the series, will also act as an executive producer through Indivisible Productions; Antoine Fuqua through Hills District Media; DiGilio: former Army Ranger Max Adams; Carr; and Shaw. The Terminal List is a co-production of Civic Centre Media and Amazon Studios in association with MRC Television.

The Terminal List tells the story of Reece, a Navy SEAL who seeks to avenge the death of his family. The main cast from season one also included Constance Wu, Arlo Mertz, Riley Keough, and Jeanne Tripplehorn.
