Leif, Erik, Harald, and Freydis will return with third season of Vikings: Valhalla.
Netflix’s hit historical drama Vikings: Valhalla will return with its third installment next year in 2024. The show is filmed around the sceniec country of Ireland with the pilot episode landing on February 25, 2022. The series which follows the adventure of famous Vikings and their journey across Europe has garnered more and more fans with each new season. The series also showcase the tension between Pagans and Christians among the Vikings.
What to expect from the third season of Vikings: Valhalla?
The season three will pickup from the finale episode of season two. We saw the three famous Vikings characters – Leif Erikson, FreyDis Eriksdottir and Harald Sigursson – going on their separate journeys. While Freydis travels to the legendary Viking stronghold of Jomsborg, where she journeyed to give birth to her son, Leif and Harald took on a daring journey across the Baltic sea to reach the city of Constantinople. With their journeys separating them from each other, we can only guess what the upcoming season holds for them.
The clip released by Netflix for third season promises exploration of new lands, and blood and gory battles. In an interview with Collider, creator Jeb Stuart revealed what the fans can expect from the upcoming season, which he hopes will top everything that came before.
Which all cast members will return for Vikings: Valhalla season 3?
While little to no information has been shared regarding the cast of the new season, it can be assumed that apart from Goran Visnjic as Erik the Red, we can assume Laura Berlin, Pollyanna McIntosh, Bradly Freegard and David Oakes will all be returning.
It is also expected that series of new characters will be introduced as the Vikings are on their way to explore new lands.
