Virgin River has officially wrapped it production stage and entered its post-production phase for the upcoming season five.
Virgin River premiered on Netflix in 2019 and since then it has managed to create a space for itself. The hit series features A-listers as stars which includes Alexandra Breckenridge, Martin Henderson, Colin Lawrence and Jenny Cooper. The series last premiered its season 4 which has left the fans wanting more.
Is Virgin River renewed for season 5?
Ever since the series dropped its season 3 which turned out to be the most successful season as it was, according to What’s on Netflix, highest grossing season so far, the show was renewed for two more seasons. This makes the return of the series with season5 pretty evident.
What is the status of the production of Virgin River Season 5?
The production for the upcoming season was to begin in March 2022 but it was later pushed back to July 2022. However, those dates were also later changed. While the reason for such delays is not known but it was suggested by Alexandra Breckenridge that they prefer to film during the summer as it is no fun to shoot during winter in Vancouver. According to What’s On Netflix, the production for Virgin River was scheduled between July 18, 2022, and November 17, 2022.
It was later officially announced with an Instagram post that the production for the upcoming season is underway as the post showed a Zoom call of a table read for fifth season. The recent updates have suggested that the shooting was wrapped on November 21, 2022.
