What to expect from Yellowjackets Season 2?

There is currently little to no information about what the future season holds for the viewers. Earlier, Showtime’s President of Entertainment, Gary Levine has stated that the writer for the new season had not met yet and were supposed to meet in January 2022. He also added that the showrunners Ashley Lyle, Bart Nickerson, and Jonathan Lisco may have some rough ideas for the upcoming season which is yet to be shared with the writers.

Levine also hinted that there would be some addition of new characters and there are many unanswered questions to be given a closure as to who survived and what exactly happened in the woods.

Recent reports have suggested that the series is being told in both the present (2021) and the past (1996), before the plane crash and after the plane crash. It follows a team of high school girl soccer players who become unlucky survivors of a plane crash in a deeply remote area of the world.
