Daryl Dixon from The Walking Dead gets his own spinoff series after Maggie and Negan.
The Walking Dead series might have met its end but the franchise is still capitalizable. In addition to Maggie, played by Lauren Cohan, and Negan, played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan, spinoff, Daryl Dixon, played by Norman Reedus, is getting his own spinoff series. The spinoff for Daryl will apparently be titled The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon. But what actually makes us woah is that the series has been set in Paris.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Reedus opens up on the new series as he shares the excitement saying, “It’s going to be way different.” He added that the story will be different, characters will be different, tone, light, sounds and everything else will also be different. But don’t know, there still will be zombies.

When will The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon release?
As of now, there has been confirm date regarding when the series will hit the network AMC and AMC+ in 2023. It was revealed by the network during Television Critics Association winter press tour that the series will premier in the year 2023. This makes the third series from The Walking Dead universe to hit our screens this years. First two being season 8 of Fear The Walking Dead and spinoff of Maggie and Negan, The Walking Dead: Dead City. It is expected that the Daryl Dixon spinoff series will release sometime around winter of 2023.
What will be the storyline for The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon?
The last time we saw Daryl, he took off on his motorbike to find Rick and Michonne. He somehow ended up in France and the story behind how he reached a whole new continent with the sea in between is yet to be known, and we feel like it could be one hilarious story. In the official synopsis by AMC, it said that Daryl struggles in the new place and wonders how he got there and why. The series follows his story as he tries to make his way back home. As he makes the journey, though, the connections he forms along the way complicate his ultimate plan.

As per an anonymous source on Wikipedia, the season will be short for Daryl. It will consists of only 6 episodes. However, these are just reports and official statement is awaited.
