Cobra Kai Season 6: The final season plotting release date in early 2024?

Cobra Kai is reaching the end with its sixth and final season. But the series will not end without giving us a bang with the final season. It was confirmed by the creators Josh Herald, Jon Hurwitz, and Hayden Schlossberg that the sixth season will the final one for Cobra Kai.

The last time we saw new episodes of the series, it was September 2022, which is not long ago. Unlike other shows on Netflix, the time gap between two seasons of Cobra Kai is not significantly large. We have had at least one season every year since 2018, except for 2020, and were later treated with two seasons in just one year i.e. 2021.

When will Cobra Kai Season 6 release on Netflix?

According to Deadline, the sixth and final season of Cobra Kai is scheduled to go into production in late spring, which means that it is likely to not go under production till half of May, or maybe even early June.

On the positive note, Cobra Kai does not require much time for filming. The series also is not in need of heavy VFX. It takes just a couple of months to shoot the season as they produce short episodes. Post that, a couple of few weeks are gone under post-production stage.

However, the last season of the series has been described as the “biggest and baddest” season which means that it may feature longer episodes and more intense stunts and fight sequences. This could result in longer post-production period. Either way, it is unlikely for the sixth season of Cobra Kai to release in 2023, but the release date for December is not out of question.

We could expect that the final season of Cobra Kai will hit the streaming giant somewhere between December 2023 and February 2024. Most sites have agreed that the streaming service will premier the last season during early months of 2024. However, these are just the predictions and official announcement is awaited.
