One of the best Netflix Original kids’ series, Hilda, is set to return for its third season. The series is based on Luke Pearson’s graphic novels of the same name.
The series premiered in 2018 and since then we have witnessed two seasons and a movie, The Mountain King. The movie was assumed to be the final part of the series but to everyone’s surprise it is not. The movie was called Hilda and The Mountain King which saw Hilda waking up to a body of troll and must find out a away to become a human again and save the city of Trolberg.
When was Hilda renewed for season 3?
The news for the season 3 was announced quietly by Animation Magazine back in February 2022 as a part of their issue 317. The upcoming season was confirmed in the article and also that it will be it’s final installment. Luke Pearson, the author of Hilda, shared some key details about the third season. “Season three will move on from the events of the movie and venture into some new territory… It will sadly be the final season, but I’m excited for people to see what we’ve got in store – especially since we’re beyond the books, so it’s all surprise.
When will Hilda season 3 release?
As Netflix announced the upcoming slate of kids’ series and movies, it was shared the new episodes of Hilda will be streaming on the OTT giant in 2023. No exact date have been revealed yet, but we will surely keep you posted.
