The official synopsis of the series follows, “A night of passion leads to love between con man Charlie and undercover CIA officer Emma.” It adds that the paths of the two characters are doomed for a collision. When Charlie tries to get out for good, Emma closes up on a criminal who has Charlie’s family’s debt in hand – forcing them to reckon with the lies they’ve told so they can save themselves and their family from disastrous consequences.
