The Night Agent: Netflix announces release date and launches teaser for upcoming action thriller series

The Night Agent gets it premier date for Netflix along with releasing its teaser.

The Night Agent has earned itself March 23rd as its premier date on Netflix. The streaming giant has also revealed the teaser for its action-thriller.

The video was short but was enough to give us an idea of the 10 episode drama series starring Gabriel Basso as Peter Sutherland. The show created and run by Shawn Ryan, shows the story of a low-level FBI agent who works in the basement of the White House, manning an emergency hotline for American spies that never rings. A call is received on the hotline from a terrified civilian, Rose Larkin, played by Luciane Buchanan, and Peter must do everything in his power to protect her and unravel the mystery which poses threats and dangers to the whole country.

The series is based on the book by Matthew Quirk and features Hong Chau, Fola Evans-Akingbola, Sarah Desjardins, Eve Harlow, Enrique Murciano Phoenix Raei and DB Woodside in the series from Sony Pictures Television Studios.

Back in 2020, when Ryan announced that he was adapting the show, he was discussing some of the favourite books he’d read that lockdown year. He listed The Night Agent in the category of “Books I Read, Decided to Adapt For Television and May Have Already Finished Writing the Pilot Episode.” Seven months later, Netflix ordered the series The Night Agent.
